Hey! I’m Laura, a Campaign Manager at Pink Squid, working every day to make sure our clients’ campaigns are activated, optimised, and performing at their best.
A big part of my role involves planning campaigns and choosing the right channels to meet our clients’ goals. This same thinking can be applied to our personal social media use, like posting family updates on Facebook, or using LinkedIn to share career milestones or industry insights.
I started posting consistently on LinkedIn a couple of years ago, and I couldn't recommend it enough; it even earned me the title of Squidfluencer of the Year at our recent Pink Squid AGM!
Engaging on LinkedIn has boosted my confidence in sharing work achievements and opinions on industry trends. It’s also a great way to stay connected with past colleagues and make new connections by following industry professionals and their journeys.
LinkedIn has really grown into a platform for genuine networking and meaningful conversations that can open doors. Whether you’re sharing success stories or jumping into discussions, I see it becoming essential for anyone looking to build their personal and professional brand.
With this in mind, a few of us at Pink Squid recently launched the Pink Squid Influencer Programme to encourage our team to post more on LinkedIn. We’re excited to help everyone feel confident sharing their successes and can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!
Stay tuned for lots of Squid content coming your way on LinkedIn!
Keep updated on the latest Employer Branding insights and our beautiful intelligent works.
