About the role

The Junior Project Manager is responsible for working closely with strategy and creative teams to plan, develop and deliver projects as agreed and assigned by clients.

What you’ll be doing

Key responsibilities for the Junior Project Manager are:

  • Growing your understanding of the employer branding industry, Pink Squid Services and your clients to successfully plan, scope, brief and deliver projects based on best practise 
  • Management of your own, and others, time prioritising tasks to ensure impact, including taking comprehensive meeting notes, scheduling meetings, clear communication skills and adhering to Pink Squid ways of working & processes 
  • Client management, building strong and trusting relationships with your client teams, hosting client communications and meetings such as weekly status calls and project deliveries alongside wider account teams.. Proactively supporting your client at every stage of your projects.
  • Preparing response to briefs, cost proposals and statements of works, aligned to the client brief 
  • Preparing and management of project RACI’s and Org Charts to help successfully manage stakeholders through the lifecycle of a project
  • Creating and managing project documentation and project plans at initiation and throughout the delivery of a project 
  • Studio management, including scheduling resource, preparing creative briefs and production forms and working alongside the creative teams to ensure timely delivery aligned to the brief
  • Articulating feedback reports (RAGs), managing amends and change throughout the lifecycle of your projects. Tackling challenges with scope creep as required to project the project ambition and studio
  • Supplier management, liaising with third-party suppliers to benefit projects and clients,ensuring the Pink Squid quality is maintained throughout.

What you need to bring

  • Employer Brand experience is not essential but is desirable.
  • A relevant qualification or degree 
  • Previous experience as a Coordinator or Executive in a similar agency environment
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills  (you will be in front of key stakeholders quite often)
  • Numeracy skills with a detailed oriented mindset
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment
