📝 Junior Creative Copywriter - London UK

JUNIOR/MID CREATIVE COPYWRITER

Hello. We’re Pink Squid, a fast-growing creative agency building people-powered brands. Our work is award-winning. Our clients are global, big-name brands. And our Central London studio (aka home, for now) is one super-talented creative short. That’s – we hope – where you come in.

We’re looking for a Junior/Mid Creative Copywriter; the kind of copywriter that gets a little bit cross when they spot a spelling mistake on a takeaway menu (or a CV…), but we’ll be also looking for a conceptual portfolio full of big ideas. We’d like you to have a minimum of one year’s experience in an agency environment, because we’re all about big ideas and conceptual work.

You have the ability to flex a tone of voice. You’re comfortable working in a team, but have no issue being on your own either. You know what makes a creative strapline award-winning. And you’re happy to teach us some new tricks as well.

If you’re looking for the chance to hone your creative writing and conceptualising muscles as part of a multi-talented, passionate team, we’re a perfect fit.

We’re currently working with some of the biggest names out there and all of our clients will be yours to shape and inspire with brilliant copy and ideas.

Does that sound like something you’d enjoy? Good. Get in touch with your CV and portfolio to teodora.stetco@pinksquid.com. Please note that applications without portfolios will not be considered.

🎨 Creative Art Director- London UK

CREATIVE ART DIRECTOR- LONDON UK

Hello. We’re Pink Squid, a fast-growing creative agency building people-powered brands. Our work is award-winning. Our clients are global, big-name brands. And our Central London studio (aka home, for now) is one super-talented creative short. That’s – we hope – where you come in.

Able to hone a message on a print ad, then give it legs across digital executions? Dedicated to giving that message a unique look and feel? And ready to work hard to help us produce industry-rocking work as it goes from concept to delivery? Well…you’re in the right place. Our creative studio is growing and we’re on the hunt to find a talented Art Director to join us in our new Squid Tank.

We’d like you to have a minimum of two years’ experience in an agency environment and a strong portfolio, which shows not just your conceptual genius, but the hidden (or extremely visible) problem-solver within you too.

You’re comfortable working in a team and love a challenge. You know what makes a creative idea award-winning. This is not a junior role, so anything extra you can bring to the table (new skills? a platform we’ve never heard about? a niche hobby?) is a bonus.

Does that sound like something you’d enjoy? Good. Get in touch with your CV and portfolio to inger.kristine@pinksquid.com. Please note that applications without portfolios will not be considered.

🖍 Creative Designer - London UK

CREATIVE DESIGNER – LONDON UK

Hello. We’re Pink Squid, a fast-growing creative agency building people-powered brands. Our work is award-winning. Our clients are global, big-name brands. And our Central London studio (aka home, for now) is one super-talented creative short. That’s – we hope – where you come in.

You’ll be working with a bunch of other creative individuals, including Copywriters, Art Directors, Motion Designers, Project Managers and Creative Strategists. So ideally you’ll have had experience in that kind of environment, where people share opinions on design (even when no one asks) and occasionally, just occasionally,

You’re an expert in Adobe Suite and know your RGB from your CMYK. You definitely have a strong portfolio, around 2 – 3 years experience in an agency environment. You’re a true artist at heart but understand the practicalities of design in the advertising industry. You’re comfortable working with others and love a challenge, whether it’s a round of table foosball or presenting your ideas in front of a client.

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE:

  • Industry experience (freelance/agency).
  • Excellent abilities in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • A great rapport with copywriters (as you may be working in a team on conceptual briefs too!)
  • A design-related degree is preferred
  • A great positive attitude and personality to match
  • A portfolio showing advertising/branding is a plus

WHAT YOU’LL GET:

  • Innovative work on some of the biggest brands around to make that amazing portfolio even better
  • Joining an insanely creative environment where you can bounce ideas around and share inspiration with teams in other departments daily
  • Perks including our (in)famous Christmas Party in Another Country (if Covid allows…)

Does that sound like something you’d enjoy? Good. Get in touch with your CV and portfolio to inger.kristine@pinksquid.com. Please note that applications without portfolios will not be considered.
