💡 Senior Employer Brand Strategist: (Dallas, Texas USA)

Senior Employer Brand Strategist

We’re Pink Squid – a creative, analytical and digital agency, focused on Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing. We were built in London, but we’ve now got a new home in Dallas, US. And we’re looking to give our new US team another boost with a new role for a talented Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing Strategist.

It’s a central role with lots of responsibility and autonomy, as our Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing Strategist you’ll lead on our US based and global projects. 

US project teams and the UK studio to unveil, design and deliver the latest innovations in the field of candidate recruitment and employee comms and engagement.

Because the role is end-to-end, you’ll have to be collaborative and analytical. Creative but grounded. Strategic, but able to investigate what audiences think and how they tick and why organizations might appeal to them. 

You’ll have the interpersonal skills to create clarity for our clients. You’ll take the lead in ensuring best practice from the agency. Being comfortable in front of clients is a must, in this role you will be leading conversations from pitch stage, right through to presenting findings and data and being a core member of the account servicing team.

And most importantly perhaps, you’re curious, ambitious and very, very versatile.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Take ownership of strategy, shaping projects and campaigns from the start
  • Construct and carry out research to define employer brand and employee communication approaches
  • Develop creative propositions and guide the creative process
  • Recommend content, channels and services to help our clients deliver new ways of working while connecting with existing and new audiences
  • Demonstrate flexibility in meeting challenging deadlines – a constant in our business
  • Develop and lead on new business proposals, working with senior team members to ensure business growth
  • Can manage yourself to deliver at pace at times, but also managing your time so you can think differently too
  • Organize clear presentations to be used up to executive level
  • Be happy to work in an agile way, mainly at home right now, but with some flexibility to come into the studio when life settles down

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE

  • At least four years experience of a strategic role within employer branding, recruitment comms or employee communications
  • Agency experience preferred but not essential
  • Graduate or Postgraduate with relevant degree subject

💡 Creative Copywriter/Marketeer : Jnr (Dallas, Texas USA)

Junior Creative Copywriter/Marketeer

We’re looking for a kind of copywriter and marketeer that takes words and builds pictures with your storytelling. We’re a small, agile team so you’ll have the ability to flex between various client work and jumping in on big and small, global or personalized creative projects. You’ll know what makes a creative strapline award-winning—or research, brainstorm, and benchmark until you do. You’ll be happy to teach us some new tricks as well. You should have the ability to flex a tone of voice as our client portfolio is as diverse as our team. If you’re looking for the chance to hone your creative writing while growing your advertising/marketing skills, you’re the perfect fit!  We’re currently working with some of the biggest names out there and your work will shape and inspire our client projects with brilliant copy and ideas.

Some key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Work closely with our US Brand Strategist & Account Director as the King or Queen of words. 
  • Write for cross-channel messaging including digital marketing assets, website copy, social media copy, internal communications, blogs, and more
  • Support and collaborate with the UK Creative Team in conceptualizing and producing concepts and content for various creative projects
  • Proof and revise copy based on feedback
  • Work in an agile way, mostly remote with the flexibility to come into the studio in Dallas, TX a few times a year

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or similar or equivalent work/internship experience 
  • An eye for detail when creating short and long-form copy in a fast-paced environment
  • Diligence to always deliver outputs on time, even when you’re creating high-volume copywriting requirements with tight deadlines
  • Passion for writing and editing beautifully crafted copy for every kind of content – from ad copy to landing pages and everything in between
  • Understanding of the relationship between words, photography, video, and graphic design
  • Experience working both in-house and with creative agency teams a plus
  • Experience in writing for high performing digital campaigns a plus
  • The confidence to try new things and a passion for bringing forth new ideas 
  • Proactive mindset, great communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote creative teams, and be able to sell ideas on creative brainstorms

Able to hone a message on a print ad, then give it legs across digital executions? Dedicated to giving that message a unique look and feel? HEAD OF WEB DESIGN & UX

A hands on creative digital thinker and design leader.

We’re looking for a web champion, a digital design conductor, an all rounder – to build and lead a web team from scratch. 

Have you thrived in an agency environment, but you’re now ready to build and run your own department? Nurturing a small team, you’ll be strategically guiding our clients – redeveloping websites from scratch, from behaviour mapping to go-live and everything else in between.

Your role as Head is to join the digital design dots from the wider Pink Squid teams, working with Project Managers, Brand Strategists, Creative Copywriters, Art Directors and Motion Designers – co-creation is an essential part of our problem solving.

📈 Campaign Manager - London UK

Campaign Manager

We’re Pink Squid – a creative, analytical and digital agency, focused on Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing. Based in central London, but with a global reach, our Digital, Data and Ad Operations team forms a key element of everything we do.

We are looking for a Campaign Manager with a proven track record in creating, managing and optimising digital marketing campaigns. We need someone with the ability to digest our clients’ problems, and create effective campaigns that deliver great value and ROI.

The successful candidate will have autonomy in building digital campaigns across a variety of channels, as well as ensuring they are continuously optimised to meet our goals. Experience in campaign builds and management is essential, with experience in performance reporting also preferred. Furthermore, we’re looking for a driven individual that can build a strong rapport with our clients to ensure the campaigns are effectively managed and delivered.

As a Campaign Manager , you will have the opportunity to work with major global brands from a range of industries including but not limited to: healthcare, education, travel, FMCG, tech, finance and more. Working with a variety of talented minds, you will be part of a growing journey as we expand our global remit, in addition to our recent launch in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Go on client briefs and translating into campaign strategies, alongside the Activation team
  • Opportunity to create, manage and optimise paid marketing campaigns across a variety of channels such as Google Search, Display, Programmatic, YouTube and various social platforms
  • Utilising web analytics platforms, e.g. Google Analytics, to measure impact and success of campaigns
  • Work with teams across the business to build and target key persona groups
  • Update and manage budgets for client projects, ensuring alignment with objectives
  • Work closely with strategy and creative teams on ad formats and best performing assets, helping them shape the assets during activation
  • Help to build bespoke campaign reports and dashboards for high profile clients

Experience/skills required:

  • 2+ years of experience in building, managing and optimising marketing campaigns across the following channels/platforms: Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Good grasp of Microsoft Excel and analysing campaign data
  • Understanding of pixel tracking and conversion optimisation
  • Ability to work as part of a wider digital marketing team
  • Experience working with third party or service providers

Desired skills/experience

  • Spotify, Reddit, TikTok campaign management experience
  • Knowledge of programmatic ad buying landscape
  • Agency experience preferred, but not essential

You’ll need to be able to:
