Our task of transforming Jaguar Land Rover’s 92-page word document into an informative employee handbook you’d want on your coffee table paid off: ‘Powered By What’s Inside’ was awarded the shiniest trophy in the Literature category.
Following last year’s big win for King’s Employer Brand ‘Seriously Playful’, it was time for their careers website to shine through with its fully personalised user experience and quirky details. Employer Website category was ours this year with another nomination for JLR – but we didn’t stop there.
From King to Costa – we were once again awarded the Employer Brand of the year. ‘Bring Your Unique Blend’, the copy-led branding, was a colourful 360 platform from print ads to event stands, internal comms, in-store marketing and giveaways.
With the words of Ann-Marie McGowan, Costa’s Employer Branding Project Advisor, “BYUB became much more than just our employer brand. It’s our identity, our differentiator, our inspiration.”
Pink Squid’s very own Creative Bossmann Manj also summed up the night nicely: “Proud to see Pink Squid collecting a variety of gongs on the night. However, enough showing off for now as we all know these awards don’t happen alone. They couldn’t happen without trust and courage from our clients. We’ve won Employer Brand three times now – and it’s fully based on us living, breathing and feeling the culture and ethics of our clients – Costa in this instance.”
The morning after was filled with McD’s breakfast baps, high fives and power naps – a well-deserved celebrative Friday for the hard-working Squids. However, no more snoozing. It’s time to start working on some more award-winning work.
Yes, you too, Steve.
